| Lisa and I had a fabulous meal at Cavos a few weeks ago celebrating with our dear friend Kathleen. We are now recommending Cavos to everyone we know and are even considering having our Book Club dinners there as well. I loved the Chicken Parm, Lisa thought the pizza was fantastic and Kathy said the Souvlaki was the best she's ever tasted.
Keep up the good work! |

We have been to Cavos for dinner many time and have always had a great meal. Recently, we had 30 people for a 50 birthday party, and the food was plentiful and service was superb. I highly recommend Cavos for dinner or for a small party.

We've been long time customers of Cavos you might even call us regulars. The food is always delicious on a consistent basis. Our favorite things include the hummus which is some of the best we've ever had, the gyros pitas which is so authentic and shaved right off the spit. The tatziki is homemade and the best. Make sure you don't forget to try the homemade baklava. This is truly the best Greek resteraunt in CT.

We get pizza every week from Cavos because it is THAT good. The chicken parmesan is exquisite! Everything we have tried is delicious. We used Cavos for our daughter's graduation party and everyone was very happy with the food. The people that work at Cavos are the best and always welcome you with a smile - what a great place to have great food and relax!

We went to Cavos after reading about it in the Calendar section of the Hartford Courant. We were more than excited to go as we had been trying to locate a Greek restaurant in CT for over 10 years after spending a vacation on the Greek Islands. The food was fantastic, the portions were huge and the baklava was the best. Don't leave without having the chicken soup it is sooo good. The waitstaff was attentive and didn't rush you. The only thing missing was Pastisto hopefully they can add it to the menu in the future.

My husband and I went last night for a pizza after hearing it was voted best pizza. We throughly enjoyed the pizza, but now after looking over the menu and seeing all the great greek specialties I am sure we will be back to try all of these. Everyone was very friendly.

My husband and I like to expose our two young boys to different cultural foods when we go out to eat so they were curious when we said we were going out for Greek food. From the moment we stepped inside the aromas drew us in. We ordered a mixed grilled platter which was enormous and the boys loved the Gyro and souvlaki. The lamb and pork were grilled perfectly and the flavors were wonderful. As the other reviewers commented it truly is authentic right down to the Greek waitress who was so charming and attentive. At a time when going out to eat is still a treat, its nice to have good food at a good value at a family business that shows their total appreciation to their patrons.

I went there today for lunch and the place and the food was great. The boneless wings are very tasty and the penne pasta and meatballs were very good. The staff is very nice. I would of gave it five stars but i have to wait and try the pizza. Until then keep up the great work and good luck in the future.

We tried Cavos Tavern for the first time last night and were thrilled with the food and service. The food is fresh and authentic, and the service is very nice and really aims to please. The atmosphere is relaxed and very pretty. My husband is a very picky eater, and even he loved the food. This is now one of our favorite places.
